[WOOHOO OFFICE LOGS YAAAAY. For you dudes who haven't participated in one, office logs are a lot like open logs, just, uh... Office. Like. Pretty much, if your character's lost or misplaced something, pay a visit! Or just stop by to annoy him, I dunno. If you want, we could even start an actual log for "_____ and Kyle's Excellent Item-Gathering Adventure." BD

How does it work? Your first comment should have the date and time in it. An actual time or just "before lunch" or something are both fine. This log is going to be open for interaction/threads from today (April 1) until April 8. Future/backdate if you want!

Iiiiif you would like any conversation in your thread to be eavesdropped upon, say so! If not, don't worry about it, uh. Kyle is good at keeping secrets. For easy access, here is a text box for you:

It's been a while sooo

*Logs can be posted in paragraph format or the posting style used in journals.
*"Open Door" if you want to allow other folks to drop in on your character's and Kyle's conversation.
*"Closed Door" if you want it to be private lol :U
*Make a note of the day/relative time, because this baby's going to be open for the entire week. (January 15-22, heck there's even some genderbend event aftermath in there)

Kyle will be in his office all week, pretending that nothing is wrong. He's going about his business like nothing's different ~~and grumbles when he can't reach things he used to be able to~~ even if he's lost almost a foot in height. (There's no way he's parting with his regular clothes ever so they fit horribly, whoops oh well)

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, AND ALL THROUGH THE SCHOOL
NOT A CREATURE WAS STIRRING-- EXCEPT KYLE. NOT COOL.

Kyle has been pretty busy the past few days. Sorry Ocelol and Time Cop, Kyle's been working alone (l-lol he wants nothing to do with Ocelot after that cafe and he cannot take either of you guys seriously DB). It took him a while to drag an answer out of Fang (MAYBE EVEN LITERALLY - P.S. Parcel if you want to log an interrogation or anything I'm cool with that |D) but he did, and it took him an hour or so to find the place and bring everything back to school.

The sorting and rooting through lists ~~that he made and checked twice~~ and journal entries to make sure he didn't miss anyone took ~~FOR-EV-ER~~ a while, though.

During the late hours of Christmas Eve/early hours of Christmas morning, ~~Santa~~ Kyle was hard at work. Either outside their doors or inside of their rooms (depending on you guys wanting him to break into your characters' rooms unnoticed or not 8Ub), every student/teacher that had something/some things stolen from them would find their stuff in a box. Larger items (like, say, a PHASE DISTORTER) were placed in the parking lot and the previously mentioned boxes contain a note saying that it'd be a good idea to check out the parking lot.

Any dropped characters will have their stolen items mailed back to them, no worries.

A few people got their own gifts, too: (all are subject to change because I'm awful at present-giving myself %D)

Mila got a stuffed bunny. He was going to get her a real one but Kyle is bad with pets and he would rather not clean out dirty cages.
Melissa got ~~MORE PUZZLES~~ a pair of gloves, a scarf, and a hat because Kevin was a jerk and didn't give her any. And he patched up her doll as best as he could (which isn't very much %D).
Louie has a new bowling ball. ~~yellow with polka dots on it y/n? 8U U8~~
Samus would have gotten a subscription to Playgirl if Kyle didn't know Snake would probably pummel him. Instead, she got a gift card to a liquor store (enough to buy a couple bottles of wine or something because Kyle is not good at picking that stuff out for other people) and some Tortoise Wax FOR ALL YOUR SPACESHIP AND ROBOT SUIT POLISHING NEEDS.
Falcon got ~~CONDOMS AND RAWK'S COUPON thx for the suggestion Tosy~~ a bottle of bourbon.
Snake got ~~CONDOMS AND RAWK'S COUPON IT WAS A JOINT GIFT thanks again Tosy %D~~ a carton of cigarettes and a coffee mug. (#1 Mom? Foxy Grandpa? Nothing on it? Your choice 8Ub)
Otacon gets an animanunu DVD of your choice I guess because I am awful at present-giving
Max got a couple six-packs of Orange Star soda. He heard that he lost a keg of it or something because Fang tripped on it. The storyteller was probably exaggerating a little.
Lash got some cheap tools for ~~death ray~~ customizing purposes. BU sorry Lash, Jesu's awful at thinking of presents.
Apple Kid got a box of donuts. One of them may or may not be a stale donut that hovers an inch off the ground left over from October.
Ganondorf got a Harry Potter notebook (and maybe a photograph of his fakedad taken at least four years ago) mixed in with his porn collection.
Rawk gets (probably his 300th this year) a handheld mirror and a crowbar. No, he didn't regift it, it's a different one.
Fang is probably still locked up in Kyle's office. If so, he can has a ~*~real-live dinner~*~. ...How he's supposed to eat it while he's still tied up is a good question. Kyle. Kyle are you just going to sit there and laugh at him. Y-you jerk.

First Bradley disappears again (he was starting to think he almost didn't show up in the first place), then Louie turns back up after he vanished without so much as a "Hey, Mila, I'm gonna split" or "ADIOS, PAISAN" or... whatever it is that he says. People he knew were starting to pop up, and he wasn't too sure he liked it.

Speaking of people he knew, someone was knocking on his door. When he saw a familiar (albeit tired and 'neglectful father'-looking) face outside, he would've slammed the door in his face if there wasn't a kid standing out there, too. "Mr. Hyde--"

"What the Hell are you doing all the way out here, Doc?" Kyle didn't exactly look pleased to see Kevin Woodward, Deadbeat Dad of the Year. He probably should've used a better word choice with the guy's 8-year old daughter right next to him, but he was about a second too late with that thought.
"I could ask you the same thing." Kyle took a break from glaring a hole into Kevin's head to look over at the girl and wonder why in the world he brought her with him.

"You've got ten seconds before I close this door and forget I ever saw you. What do you want?"

"Well, you see, er... I need your help, I can't just--"

"I haven't got all day." He'd wasted all his patience on this guy a year ago. If he didn't know any better, he'd say that Kevin was pouting at him for cutting in.

"It's Grace. I- ...I think she may be somewhere in the area, and I intend to find her."

"Grace, huh? Haven't see her. We done here, or--"

"--I need you to look after Melissa."

"Good, see you around-- WHAT." If Kyle wasn't fuming before, he sure was now. "I'm not--"

"Mr. Hyde, I am going to search every nook and cranny in this city. I can't drag Melissa around with me wherever I go!" Part of him wished that Kevin was talking about tiring his daughter out, but chances were he was talking about places not letting in a minor.

One of these days Kyle was going to punch Kevin's lights out. He could've sworn he was done dealing with kids. ...Okay, Melissa wasn't a bad kid, but--

See, this was why he couldn't stand the little brats. He just couldn't say 'no' to the poor girl. "...Hey, Squirt. Get inside, you're gonna catch a cold out here."

I stumbled on Leon's office logs a couple of days ago. I thought it'd be a good idea because a lot of Kyle's job revolves around people coming to him in his office. HAS YOUR CHARACTER LOST SOMETHING? Go to the Lost and Found office and talk to him! In the off-chance that he does need to find something, we can start an actual log about it.

Or just stop by and chat, your choice. What, me take the rules straight from Cammi and modify them? pffft no way

SO. Here's how it works:
1. Activities in this post are log format. Either script form (Talk talk talk *action*) or paragraph form, your choice.

2. All comments are private by default. Whatever your character and Kyle talk about is TOTALLY PRIVATE unless you bring a friend in or allow eavesdropping
2a. "OPEN DOOR" at the start of your comment thread means you allow threadhopping (allowing others to walk in on your conversation)
2b. "CLOSED DOOR" means. Uh, the opposite.
2c. "EAVESDROPPABLE" means you allow others to walk past and, well, eavesdrop. Duh.

3. If you want a character to stop by at a certain time, just make a note of it. Like "after the cafe" or "Sunday afternoon" or something.

4. Keep it PG, I guess? Uh, Kyle has a potty mouth. 8U

I know the budget for this place has to be huge, but I didn't think the place would just let kids CRASH THEIR CARS INTO THE BUILDING. Obviously I went to the wrong schools as a kid. Christ.

Is this crap going to happen every week? A car BLEW UP while I was ON it. And I think I caught on fire for a second or two. ...Damn it, does anyone have a map of this place so I know how to avoid going within 30 feet of that stadium?
